Looking Back on 2012

I had so much fun looking back on 2011 last year that I decided to make this a little tradition.
2012 has been oh-so-good to us and we know how blessed we really are. Can't believe that 2013 might just get even crazier!

Happy New Year everyone! Wishing you + your family all the best in the New Year!

WICKED!

 WE FINALLY WATCHED WICKED!
We've been dying to watch it all year. Tickets were ridiculously expensive in New York so that was a definite no. So excited when we found out Wicked was coming to Honolulu. Loved every second of it!

Christmas Eve

With all the bright Christmas lights and tempting Christmas displays at the mall, it's sometimes easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas. That's why I love the Nativity tradition that Robby's family has every year. I loved being apart of the reenactment and teaching the little ones about Christ's birth. Like what President Thomas S. Monson said at the 2011 First Presidency Christmas Devotional, "The Christmas season is a time to reflect and act upon the blessings and opportunities we have because of the birth, life, Atonement, and Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ."

Merry Christmas everyone!

Catching Up #11: Office Christmas Party

Robby's office has a crazy Christmas party every year full of food and completely ridiculously hilarious games. Running around and laughing your head off especially right after eating a huge meal is never a good idea. As you can see, things got pretty out of hand!

Catching Up #10: Hilton Mini Vacation

Soon after I got back from Taiwan, we were given two free nights at the Hilton in Waikiki by some very generous people. We swam, watched movies, and relaxed to our hearts' content.

Catching Up #9: Economy, What's That?

My stay in Dreamland had finally come to an end. Gone are the days of being served a hot breakfast as soon as I got out of bed. Gone are the days of having clean and folded clothes without having to do laundry. Thanks for seriously spoiling me, family!
I was pleasantly surprised when my seat in Economy got upgraded to one in Business Class with empty seats all around me! Never before was I so distraught that my flight was a mere six hours (TPE-HNL) rather than the usual nine+ hours from TPE to LAX. All I can say is that I never want to fly Economy again. Ever.

oh, and yes there are pictures of food. I did say it was a New Year Resolution.

Catching Up #8: Just Another Day

Parked on the crosswalk so we could eat lunch. Then went biking in a park. I'd say it was a good day.
