Honeymooners

I know, I know, we went on our honeymoon AGES ago. That just goes to show how much I procrastinate. But I'm going to go ahead and try (keyword: try) to catch up with the present as soon as possible. Bear with me.

We started off our honeymoon with a few nights in Honolulu at the Kaimana Beach Hotel with a view like this.Robby quickly grew bored of Hawaii, so off to Thailand we went! The food on the plane was surprisingly edible.
Check out the awesome itinerary that Robby surprised me with.
It has become a little tradition to pick up a mango drink during our layovers in Taipei.
Upon arrival in Bangkok, Thailand, we discovered that the "baht" is definitely more aesthetically appealing (if not, at least more colourful) than US currency.
The hotel that we stayed at was called The Amari. FREE breakfast every morning, baby! And it was by no means a continental breakfast...
Did some exploring. The weather was beautiful.
Mamuang Nampla Wan (Thai Green Mango with Sweet Fish Sauce)
Positively NOT on my list of foods to try again.
We ate it all!Of course, the night would not be complete without some authentic Thai delicacies. Pad Thai, garlic pepper shrimp, and cheesecake from...room service! It doesn't get more authentic than that.Seriously though, the Pad Thai and garlic pepper shrimp at the hotel were amazing. We looked for it the whole rest of the trip but could not find anything that tasted remotely as good. Funny.
