The Day Before Thanksgiving

As Canadians, we have definitely been missing out on one of the best holidays of the year. Sure, we have Thanksgiving too, but it's really not the same at all.

The day before Thanksgiving, I had a 3 hour break from work, so we took that time to go pick out our first Christmas tree! We were planning on getting a much smaller tree, but this tree "spoke" to us. It ended up being an almost 7 foot tree.

Tiff came over to help put the lights on the tree and to prep dinner. We had to rearrange the furniture in our tiny living room to accommodate our tree, but we love it. However, we have no ornaments...so feel free to donate! Haha!
Thanksgiving dinner was at Meags' and Phill's as usual. Maizie was soooo darn cute. I just had to take a picture...
Meagan made her DELICIOUS pineapple glazed ham instead of turkey this year. I was never a big fan of turkey so I was more than happy to have more room in my stomach for the ham. On top of the delicious ham, we had stuffing, rolls, potato salad, jello, and a massive plate of cranberry sauce.
Look at all this deliciousness...

My first plate of many...

HAPPY (DAY BEFORE) THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Macaroni Grill's Stuffed Mushroom Receipe REVEALED

Stuffed mushrooms are probably one of my favorite appetizers. I'm always in the mood for it. Romano's Macaroni Grill just happens to make the best stuffed mushrooms and BELIEVE IT OR NOT, they've decided to reveal their recipe! Who knows why, but I'm not complaining. Thought I'd share!

Congrats Tiffster!

My little sister is officially a DANCE EDUCATION MAJOR! On top of that, she made the cut for the Faculty Showcase Auditions so she'll be performing the Professors choreographed pieces next February!
So in celebration, we made our grandma's famous niu rou mien (beef noodle soup) and had some cupcakes from the Sweet Tooth Fairy for dessert.

Stewed this for 4 hours.
But so worth it!
Tiffster, we're so proud of you and we can't wait to see you perform!
