First Stop: SEATTLE

If you've never been to Seattle, the northernmost major city in the contiguous United States, and the largest city in the Pacific Northwest and the state of Washington, you really need to go. It's a beautiful city. On top of that, it's home to the famous Pikes Market Place, which needless to say was on our list of must-sees.It's fun being tourists!
We walked past Ivar's around lunchtime and could not resist stopping. They had the most delicious clam chowder and fish n' chips.
There were 5,484 seagulls surrounding the restaurant, so with the promptings of the signs that read "don't worry about feeding the birds", we fed them our cold fries. One of us was more scared than the others. Can you guess who???
As we made our way back to the marketplace, we stopped by the gum wall. Yes, it is a wall covered with every kind of gum imaginable. Next, we stopped by Nordstrom Rack (obviously) and Robby found a pair of sweet Nikes. So he FINALLY chucked his old, dirty, worn-out Addidas that I've been bugging him to get rid of for ages. He was really not as sad as he looks in this picture.
The tourist thing continued as we went to check out the Space Needle. I haven't been since I was in elementary school, so it was a lot of fun.
The view was breathtaking. We even saw the cruiseship that we were going to be boarding the very next day!
By the end of the night, we were all exhausted yet starving. 13 Coins was right next door to our hotel, so we headed there to appease our growling stomachs. I don't know if we were just that hungry or if the food was just actually that good, but everything tasted amazing. We had a spaghettini carbonara, chicken scallopini alla marsala (my favourite), and a bucket of clams in pesto broth. The perfect end to a great day.

One more sleep and we were going to be on the cruise to ALASKA!
